"Intellectual Property" means proprietary and intellectual property rights, including the Site, its logos, graphics, icons, images, as well as the selection, assembly, and arrangement thereof, Maestro's proprietary software, algorithms, and any and all intellectual property rights pertaining thereto, including, without limitation, inventions, patents, and patent applications, trademarks, trade names, logos, copyrightable materials, graphics, text, images, designs (including "look and feel" of the Site and any part thereof), specifications, methods, procedures, information, know-how, data, technical data, interactive features, source and object code, files, interface, and trade secrets, whether or not registered and/or capable of being registered, and any and all Feedback.
The Intellectual Property is owned and/or licensed to Maestro, and is subject to copyright and other applicable intellectual property rights under United States laws, Delaware state law, foreign laws, and international conventions. You may not copy, distribute, display, execute publicly, make available to the public, emulate, reduce to human-readable form, decompile, disassemble, adapt, sublicense, make any commercial use, sell, rent, lend, process, compile, reverse engineer, combine with other software, translate, modify or create derivative works of any material that is subject to Maestro's proprietary rights, including Maestro's Intellectual Property, either by yourself or by anyone on your behalf, in any way or by any means, unless expressly permitted in the Terms.
"Maestro" and all logos and other proprietary identifiers used by Maestro in connection with the Site, ("Maestro Trademarks") are all trademarks and/or trade names of Maestro, whether or not registered. All other trademarks, Site marks, trade names, and logos that may appear on or with respect to the Site belong to their respective owners ("Third Party Marks"). No right, license, or interest to Maestro Trademarks and/or to the Third Party Marks is granted hereunder, and you agree that no such right, license, or interest shall be asserted by you with respect to Maestro Trademarks or the Third Party Marks and therefore you will avoid using any of those marks, unless expressly permitted herein.
You are hereby prohibited from removing or deleting any and all copyright notices, restrictions, and signs indicating proprietary rights of Maestro and/or its licensors, including copyright mark [©] or trademark [® or ™] contained in or accompanying the Site, and you represent and warrant that you will abide by all applicable laws in this respect. You are further prohibited from using, diluting, or staining any name, mark, or logo that is identical, or confusingly similar to any of Maestro marks and logos, whether registered or not.
The Site may use or include third-party software, files, and components that are subject to open source and third-party license terms ("Third Party Components"). Your right to use such Third Party Components as part of, or in connection with, the Site is subject to any applicable acknowledgments and license terms accompanying such Third Party Components, contained therein or related thereto. If there is a conflict between the licensing terms of such Third Party Components and these Terms, the licensing terms of the Third Party Components shall prevail only in connection with the related Third Party Components.
These Terms do not apply to any Third Party Components accompanying or contained in the Site and Maestro disclaims all liability related thereto. You acknowledge that Maestro is not the author, owner, or licensor of any Third Party Components, and that Maestro makes no warranties or representations, express or implied, as to the quality, capabilities, operations, performance, or suitability of Third Party Components. Under no circumstances shall the Site or any portion thereof (except for the Third Party Components contained therein) be deemed to be "open source" or "publicly available" software.
The Site's availability and functionality depend on various factors, such as communication networks, software, hardware, and Maestro's Site providers and contractors. Maestro does not warrant or guarantee that the Site will operate and/or be available at all times without disruption or interruption, or that it will be immune from unauthorized access or error-free.
Maestro reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to modify, correct, amend, enhance, improve, make any other changes to, or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the Site (or any part thereof) without notice, at any time. In addition, you hereby acknowledge that the Content available through the Site may be changed, modified, edited, or extended in terms of content and form or removed at any time without any notice to you. In no event shall Maestro and/or any of the Maestro affiliates and/or subsidiaries be liable for any damages whatsoever, including direct, indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages of any kind, resulting from or arising out of the Site, use or inability to use the Site, failure of the Site to perform as represented or expected, loss of goodwill, data or profits, the performance or failure of Maestro to perform under these Terms, and any other act or omission of Maestro by any other cause whatsoever.
No action may be brought by you for any breach of these Terms more than one (1) year after the accrual of such cause of action. As some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, such limitations may not apply to a user residing in such states.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Maestro and any Maestro Affiliates from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, debts, fines, late fees, cancellation fees, and expenses (including attorney's fees) arising directly or indirectly from:
Payment Plan: The Payment Plan allows you access to Maestro's services and/or content ("Services") for the mentioned cost. Payment Plan pricing and associated fees can be found on our website during the payment process.
Payment Information: By subscribing to the Payment Plan, you authorize Maestro to charge the payment method you provided ("Payment Method") for the recurring Payment Plan. Payment will be billed on the date you subscribe to the Payment Plan, and on a recurring basis thereafter, depending on your Payment Plan.
Billing Information: You are responsible for providing and maintaining accurate and up-to-date billing information. If your Payment Method is declined, you must update your billing information promptly. If we are unable to process your Payment Method for any reason, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Services until the outstanding fees are paid.
Cancellation and Refunds: You may cancel your Payment Plan at any time by contacting our customer support. Upon cancellation, you will continue to have access to the Services until the end of your current billing period. Payments are non-refundable. However, if you believe you have been incorrectly billed or significantly unsatisfied, please contact our customer support within 30 days of the billing date to request an adjustment or refund.
Maestro may change the Terms from time to time, at its sole discretion and without any notice. We will notify you regarding substantial changes of these Terms on the homepage of the Site and/or we will send you an e-mail regarding such changes to the e-mail address that you provided in the contact form. Such substantial changes will take effect seven (7) days after such notice was provided on our website or sent via email.
To enjoy the Site, you must be over the age of sixteen (16). We reserve the right to request proof of age at any stage so that we can verify that minors under the age of sixteen (16) are not using the Site. In the event that it comes to our knowledge that a person under the age of sixteen (16) is using the Site, we will prohibit and block such User from accessing the Site and will make all efforts to promptly delete any Personal Information.

Maestro may ask if you'd like to receive updates about your scholarship status via SMS. By opting in—whether by checking a box, clicking a button, or agreeing during a conversation with Maestro (including chat interactions)—you consent to receive text messages from Maestro related to your scholarship application. These may include reminders, status updates, and enrollment guidance.
Message frequency may vary but will not exceed 4 SMS messages per month. Standard message and data rates may apply. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP, or request help by replying HELP.
Providing this consent is entirely optional and not required for admission, scholarship eligibility, or participation in any Maestro program. Your phone number will only be used for program-related messaging and will not be shared or used for unrelated marketing.
